Kemper Collections

The Kemper Museum invites you to "collaborate" in as many ways as possible with its staff and fellow visitors through the Museum's collection. Each object in the collection has a dedicated page online. From these individual pages, you are free to submit tags (keywords) for objects, so that they might become relevant and searchable in more dynamic and unforeseen ways. You are also welcome to create a portfolio of your own, to which individual objects can be added or removed at any time. You may choose to mark your portfolio as private (only visible to you) or public. Additionally, we have included an +addthis button on each object's individual page. This button allows you to use one of the many popular social bookmarking sites (del.icio.us, Magnolia, Facebook, etc.) to make a bookmark of the object for your personal use.

Take a look at some of the portfolios made by members of the Kemper Museum's community (docents, educators, volunteers, and staff members). All of the portfolios below have been marked and approved for sharing with visitors to the Museum's website. If you are interested in compiling portfolios of your own, please contact the KemperCollections administrator to set up your account. Please include in an e-mail to kempercollections [at] kemperart [dot] org a desired username and password, your first and last name, location, and vocation.

Enjoy.
